North Texas Performing Arts recently announced a new membership program for arts patrons called the Repertory and Community Membership Circle.
Memberships, NTPA says, support building community through storytelling and cultural experiences, sustaining live theatre, developing character, educational opportunities, impacting artists, telling inclusive and diverse stories and keeping NTPA’s lasting legacy.
The tax-deductible membership provides voting rights for the season survey, playbill recognition for one year, access to annual members meetings and reports, a member car decal and a discount on NTPA merch.
Tiered memberships provide a variety of bonuses, including
- Balcony – $100 per year – 1 free repertory or community orchestra ticket, 1 free Repertory and Community AMP Awards ticket and 10% off community theatre performances
- Orchestra – $250 per year – 2 free repertory or community orchestra tickets, 1 free Repertory and Community AMP Awards ticket and 15% off community theatre performances
- Marquee – $500 per year – 4 free repertory or community orchestra tickets, 2 free Repertory and Community AMP Awards tickets and 15% off community theatre performances
- Mainstage – $1,000 per year – 4 free repertory or community orchestra tickets, 4 free Repertory and Community AMP Awards tickets, 2 free repertory or community premium tickets, 20% off community theatre performances, invites to special and opening night events and 1 free quarter-age playbill ad
- Playwright – $2,500 per year – 8 free repertory or community orchestra tickets, 8 free repertory or community premium tickets, 2 Repertory and Community AMP Awards tickets, 25% off community theatre performances, invites to special and opening night events and 3 free quarter-age playbill ads
- Composer – $5,000 per year – 10 free repertory or community orchestra tickets, 10 free repertory or community premium tickets, 2 Repertory and Community AMP Awards tickets, 25% off community theatre performances, invites to special and opening night events and 4 free quarter-age playbill ads
Monthly payment options are available for Marquee-level members and above.
NTPA’s Repertory “Dare to Dream” season kicked off earlier this month. This year’s shows include Into the Woods, Oklahoma!, Footloose: The Musical and The Rocky Horror Show. The Plano Community Theatre is currently auditioning for Camelot. Video auditions are due April 11.
