Plano Parks & Rec hosting virtual open house

The City of Plano’s Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a “virtual open house.”  The online engagement room serves as a place where residents can offer their input on future parks and recreation needs in the city. It features information on the parks planning process as well as as multiple engagement opportunities.

Plano is currently updating its parks master plan. City officials say that feedback is a critical component of planning for the long-term development of parks, recreation, trails and open spaces.

Before finalizing those plans, they wanted to ensure that all residents got ample opportunity to have their say.  In addition to the virtual engagement room, there is also an online survey where residents can provide their input.

The virtual engagement room will remain open through Nov. 7.
