Plano ‘Pinions: What’s your favorite holiday tradition?

What is your favorite holiday tradition around Plano?

Christmas Cops in Plano. I love volunteering, and I love how many families in need are helped during the holiday season.

Christmas Lights. Whether it be at Highland Park in Dallas, Deerfield in Plano or Vitruvian Park in Addison. Growing up, my parents would drive my brothers and me around at night to see Christmas lights, and now it is a fun tradition I do with my own family. The lights are a beautiful sight and provide a festive experience.

Christmas Lights. My family loves looking at all the lights in Turtle Creek in Dallas.

Christmas Tree Lighting in Allen. It is a great time to see what the community has to offer and also see a little bit of the Nutcracker Ballet.

Dallas Arboretum. We love the 12 Days of Christmas at the Arboretum because it feels so magical and nostalgic, especially at night!

Dickens in Downtown Plano. It’s so beautiful and fun to see the Haggard Park Christmas tree lit up, the activities and downtown stores decorated. It’s just a special time in Plano.
