Plano restaurants serving French plates this weekend at the French Food and Wine Festival

This year’s French Food and Wine Festival in McKinney has a lineup of DFW-based French restaurants prepared to display their culinary artistry.

Plano-based My French Recipe located in the Crossroads Shopping Center is in on the French fun. Isabel Mota, a Paris native, runs the shop to spread the love of French foods.

Mota has recreated her favorites from back home and turned them into baking mixes for even the most novice pastry chef to enjoy. The shop also features cooking classes for those looking to take it up a notch.

My French Recipe is joining Whisk Crepes Cafe, Les Delices de France, Bisous Bisous Patisserie, Au Troisieme, Savor Patisserie, Ogi’s European Bakery, Mozzarella Company, Empire Baking, Lavendou and more at the Cotton Mill this Thursday from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

General admission includes local chefs, a sizeable French cheese buffet, a selection of French wines and an open bar with lots of dishes to try for $90. Participants can also purchase a Bubble Champagne Pass to enjoy a champagne bar for $110.
