Attention to the college-bound — Plano West Rotary Club is offering six scholarships to who are continuing their education.
The scholarships, each worth $1,000, are available to high school seniors, college students, vocational students and single parents who will be continuing their education. Applicants must either work, live or attend school in Plano or Plano ISD.
Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, community service and leadership roles rather than academic accomplishment.
The deadline to submit an application is May 5, and interviews will take place on May 27.
Plano West Rotary Club is a network of volunteers that provide community service through a fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.
