Two Plano West Senior High School students and five Collin College students brought home medals at the SkillsUSA national competition.
At the recent SkillsUSA national competition in Atlanta, several Collin College and Plano West Senior High School students took home gold medals.
The 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference brought together student competitors in career and technical education (CTE)-based skills.
From Collin College, Rachel Hansen won gold in graphic communication, Macey Loureiro won gold in photography and Tyler Mathieson won gold in technical computer applications. In a team competition, Lisa Dorman and Martin Torres won bronze for 3D visualization and animation.
