Raising Cane's Dallas Restaurant Support Office — located in Plano — is about to begin a large expansion project to triple the space.

“Yo, yo, yo, you want some chicken to go?”

This is just one of the many phrases chicken finger chain Raising Cane’s employees might say when you pull into the drive-thru. Known for their witty phrases and association with Post Malone and the Dallas Cowboys, the restaurant has a long-time association with Dallas. Fun Fact: The Dallas Restaurant Support Office is in Plano.

The office in Plano opened in 2009 with a lease in Plano’s Legacy business park and 53 positions open. In 2010, Raising Cane’s opened their 100th restaurant. Today, the company operates more than 800 locations.

The Plano office is currently located at 6800 Bishop Road, employing 480 team members. And with a plan to have more than 1,600 restaurants by 2030, the current space might not be enough to hold the Caniacs in.

“The expansion into our new office represents the great success we’ve achieved over the past 16 years in Plano and is a nod at all the milestones to come as we continue expanding our crew and opening restaurants around the world,” said Raising Cane’s co-CEO and COO AJ Kumaran. “The City of Plano has been a great partner for us throughout the years and we’re looking forward to continuing our partnership and support of the community as we open the doors to our new DRSO next year.”

The expansion will more than triple the space of the current office with a 400,000 square-food office campus at 5320 Legacy Drive.

“The City of Plano is excited to collaborate with Raising Cane’s on this significant expansion and investment in our community,” said Mayor John B. Muns. “For the past 16 years, Raising Cane’s has been a vital part of Plano’s corporate landscape, greatly enhancing our local economy and creating hundreds of high-wage jobs for our citizens. The company’s commitment to community values is evident in their ongoing contributions and support across North Texas. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Raising Cane’s on their remarkable success and look forward to partnering with them in this exciting next phase of growth in Plano.”

Though an opening date for the campus is not yet known, the company plans to remodel over the next year and move in sometime in 2026. Raising Cane’s currently has many positions open at the Plano campus.
