Rakko Sushi now open on Legacy Drive

Rakko Sushi recently opened near the intersection of Legacy Drive and Central Expressway. The self-described “casual Japanese Restaurant” at 280 Legacy Drive, Suite 300, features a wide selection of sushi and sashimi fare. It is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The word “rakko” means sea otter in Japanese. Owners say they wanted a restaurant where patrons can enjoy food made from fresh ingredients in a “cozy and peaceful atmosphere.”
This is the fourth sushi restaurant along the half-mile stretch of Legacy Drive between Chase Oaks Blvd. and US 75. The bustling area now boasts no less than 25 restaurants offering various types of East Asian-inspired cuisine.
