On Saturday, August 22, Repertory Company Theatre is bringing to life some of the characters from its upcoming season, like Sherlock Holmes and Morticia Addams. The characters will be part of a murder-mystery-style evening where guests work to solve The Case of the Missing Ruby.
“The Case of the Missing Ruby is our way of inviting the community to become part of the story,” said Debra Carter, executive director of Repertory Company Theatre. “It’s a fun, interactive evening filled with mystery, laughter, and surprises while giving our patrons an exciting preview of the incredible characters they’ll meet during our 2026–2027 season.”
Throughout the evening, guests are invited to question characters, inspect evidence, and venture into the Addams family parlor or a 1940s White Christmas Party.
This year’s season includes Finding Neverland, Sherlock Holmes & the Adventures of the Suicide Club, The Addams Family, Holmes for the Holidays, White Christmas, The Pirates of Penzance, Million Dollar Quartet, Anastasia, Catch Me If You Can and Dear Evan Hansen.
Admission is $100 and includes a party buffet, two drink tickets and one raffle ticket. The event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 770 N. Coit Road.
