Smiles abound at Heritage Farmstead Eggstravaganza and spring festival

Last week’s Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival was a roaring success. The Plano Heritage Farmstead Museum hosted the event which featured thousands of eggs filled with prizes for children ages 10 and under. Guests of all ages enjoyed this fun-filled time celebrating life on the Blackland Prairie as it once was.  Activities included the shearing of the Farmstead’s sheep hands-on demonstrations, historic exhibits, hayrides, food trucks, children’s crafts, house tours, historical activities, a photo booth, live banjo and ukulele music.
