Seven Reasons to Visit This New Entertainment Center

In December, Strike+Reel opened a 90,000-square-foot facility at 5902 N. President George Bush Highway, at the convergence of Plano, Garland and Richardson, completely dedicated to fun. Besides bowling and movies, Strike+Reel features a full restaurant and bar, multitudes of games, a climbing wall, bumper cars and a high ropes course – something for just about everyone. Here are seven reasons to check it out.

1. Taking Movie Night to a New Level

Strike+Reel’s eight theaters feature Hollywood’s newest titles delivered in a luxury setting. Settle into your own heated, reclining chair with a moveable tray, and order food and drinks from the seat. Movies are just $5 every Tuesday; XD movies are $7. On Sundays and Wednesdays, Strike+Reel goes retro with its Flashback Cinema as classics from yesteryear return to the big screen.

Bowling lanes

2. Get Bowl-ed Over

With state-of-the art lanes and lane-side food and drink service, Strike+Reel redefines the bowling experience. Offering such games as Angry Birds, Easy Bowling and Horse, lanes can be equipped ball bumpers and ball ramps if players wish. And yes, Strike+Reel does rent bowling shoes. For a more intimate experience, rent one or several of the eight private lanes in the VIP area. Plenty of giant TV screens make it easy to keep tabs on favorite teams while bowling a few frames.

Gaming Center

3. Games Galore

Strike+Reel’s vast arcade features first-person shooters like Halo, The Walking Dead, Tomb Raider and Virtual Rabbids. If classic games are your bag, check out gigantic versions of Centipede, Pac-Man and Space Invaders. Or win prizes by shooting hoops or filling a clown’s mouth with water via a squirt gun. Pinball fans will enjoy Strike+Reel’s pinball machines, including Batman, The Munsters and Star Wars.

Street Tacos

4. Food for Thought

Another great reason to visit Strike+Reel is to experience its chef-driven menu, which is served in the restaurant, at the bar, lane-side or in any of its theaters. Start your meal with the Epic Cheese Fries, a mound of oozing, cheesy goodness featuring brisket, bacon and queso. For the main course, choose between one of the tasty New York-style pizzas or a handheld, including an array of burgers, street tacos and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Strike+Reel also offers dinners featuring steak, seafood and salads. And for those who save room, a full dessert menu is available, including The Titanic, a mammoth sundae with brownies feeding up to four people. Diners can choose to nab a gelato or other confections at Strike+Reel’s grab-and-go dessert counter.

Laser Tag

5. A True Variety Show

If you don’t fancy bowling, games or a movie, then visit one of Strike+Reel’s other attractions. Show off your footwork on the LED climbing wall, give the bumper cars a spin, compete against friends and family in the laser tag arena or test your agility on the high ropes course suspended above the gaming floor.

We went on Sunday “father day” and it looked like they were kids running the place we never received our food order and It took me 1 hr and half to get my dr pepper after I kept asking for it. Yet we were charged for the food order we never received.

I love this place but yesterday you’ll didn’t even do a great job I couldn’t even enjoy the movie as I had keep an eye on our order that never showed up! As soon as we told the lady what’s taking so long she said your order will be out in another 1hr and 15 mins so I said okay it’s bee over an hour so I have to wait another hour and 15 mins she said yes. I said just cancel my order then and don’t charge me for what i’m not going to get she smile and said “okay” and left.
