Texas Health dedicates garden to Leslie Squair Baker

Last Saturday, Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery in Plano held a ceremony to honor a fallen colleague. Officials dedicated a new employee garden to former marketing director Leslie Squair Baker, who was murdered in her own driveway two years ago.

The garden was planted on the East side of the building, where many employees enter each day.  It was created to give them a place to sit, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of nature.  The centerpiece of the garden is a water feature with river rocks surrounding it.  Hospital employees and their families painted rocks with messages of inspiration and love in honor of Baker.

Baker worked with Texas Health Resources for more than two decades. She spent 13 of those years as the marketing director for the Center for Diagnostics and Surgery. Members of the community are invited to visit the garden and leave a painted rock in her honor.
