Corky’s Gaming Bistro shutters Plano location

Corky’s Gaming Bistro at 1900 North Central Expressway has closed. On Thursday, crews were on the scene removing items from the restaurant. All signage had already been taken down.

In a social media post last month announcing the move, a company official said that COVID-19 simply got the best of them. Halloween would be their last day in operation.

“We opened during the height of Covid in July 2020, and despite many marketing efforts and the efforts of our super staff, we have been unable to generate the necessary sales to support the massive investment,” the statement read. “We have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Plano community and appreciate the support that we did receive.”

The original Corky’s Gaming Bistro in Grapevine remains open.
