Texas’ Tribute to Elvis

On March 4-6, 2016, the first annual Texas’ Tribute to Elvis, hosted by Tees Events USA LLC, will be held at Southfork Ranch. The three-day fest will celebrate the life and music of Elvis Presley.

The festival will feature several Elvis-themed headliner shows throughout the weekend. Friday night’s “Long Live the King” and Saturday night’s “Rockin’ across Texas” showcase Elvis’ greatest hits and concert classics. Sunday morning’s “Spirit of the King” is a tribute to Elvis’ gospel music, followed by “Elvis Country,” a musical journey through his country classics.

The festival will also host the preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, the winner of which will represent Texas in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest finals in Memphis in 2016. Special guests of the three-day event include two previous winners of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest, Cody Ray Slaughter–star of the touring musical, “Million Dollar Quartet”–and Bill Cherry, as well as several other professional Elvis tribute artists.

Performances throughout the weekend include soul duo and Elvis Presley backup singers The Hollady Sisters, gospel artists The Blackwood Quartet and the Elvis Presley Enterprises’ official tribute band, The EAS Band. “Conversations on Elvis” will include discussions with some of Elvis’ personal friends, including Linda Thompson.

The event promises to be loaded with Elvis memorabilia. Three-day All Access ticket holders also have access to private after-parties each evening. Online ticket sales end Wednesday, February 24 at 5pm.
