Beginning this month, teens have their own virtual club with PPL! Reel Reading is a teen-specific book, film and TV club meeting virtually monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Each month will have a genre or theme to explore, and for September things are getting spooky with thrillers and mysteries. The first session is Tuesday, September 22 and you can register here.

The next Spotlight Artist is Christine Song, a fashion illustrator who specializes in painting using only two colors: black and gold. On the PPL Facebook page on Saturday, September 19 at 3 p.m., viewers will learn how to use these two colors to create three types of fur (silver fox, mink and raccoon) as well as create their own full fur fashion look.

Editing is complete through Adobe Photoshop, and some experience is recommended. Headshots at Home is meeting on Zoom on Wednesday, September 9 at 1 p.m. and you can register here. Need access to Photoshop? Each PPL location has a computer with the Adobe Creative Cloud, just register for a time by calling one of the libraries.
