Urban Seafood Co. opened June 15 with a ribbon cutting and red carpet event at 1104 14th Street, Plano.
The most recent concept of the team behind Urban Crust and Urban Rio, Urban Seafood Co. features a variety of New England-style fresh fish, lobsters and other seafood fares. Selections include mussels, lobster rolls, wood grilled Texas Red Fish and a fresh shell bar.
The menu is the creation of Executive Chef Salvatore, affectionately known as Chef Tore to regulars, a position he commands in all three Urban Family Restaurants.
On the first floor a newly constructed 3-story building downtown, the restaurant holds room for a main dining area, a private room, an oyster bar, a cocktail bar, a small seafood market and an enormous outdoor dining patio.
Current opening hours have Urban Seafood Co. staying open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant has also advertised daily happy hour specials for drinks and food on weekdays.
