Plano restaurant receives award as first vegan-only State Fair vendor

Known for their vegan take on a Crunchwrap Supreme, Vegan Vibrationz normally operates at Legacy Hall. This month, they're operating at the State Fair.

Legacy Hall’s Vegan Vibrationz recently won a Compassionate Business Award from PETA for being the first vendor in State Fair of Texas history to serve exclusively vegan food.

Vegan Vibrationz was started in 2018 at the Dallas Farmers Market by identical twin brothers Jovan and Josh Cole before opening a Legacy Hall brick-and-mortar in 2023.

“From plant-powered sandwiches bursting with flavor to a craveable crunchwrap with a vegan twist, Vegan Vibrationz offers an animal-friendly answer to comfort food cravings,” says PETA Founder Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA is celebrating Vegan Vibrationz for creating a mouthwatering menu that even the staunchest of carnivores can’t resist.”

Vegan Vibrationz serves up vegan versions of fast-food classics like a Crunchwrap Supreme made with plant-based meat crumble or a crispy ‘Chickun’ sandwich made with a plant-based chicken patty.

The Cole brothers will receive a framed certificate along with vegan chocolates from PETA.

You can try some of the Vegan Vibrationz favorites at their State Fair of Texas booth now through October 19.
