On October 25, Plano firefighters will celebrate the 6th annual Battle of the Bras. The firefighters will “strap up” to support local breast cancer warriors; however, they won’t be donning firefighter gear, but bras.
The Battle of the Bras is an annual community fundraiser hosted by Women’s Council of Realtors Collin County. The event raises funds for Women Rock, an organization seeking to save lives by increasing breast cancer awareness and teaching the benefits of early detection.
The uniquely decorated bras will be modeled by the local Plano firefighters and auctioned off to the highest bidder. The proceeds will go to Women Rock as they provide local survivor and caregiver support through assistance in mammograms, physicians and household expenses.
Come to Plano Event Center this Thursday to support breast cancer awareness and get ready to bid on some bras. Tickets are available at the link below.
