Cinemark Giving Away Free Halloween Watch Parties

In celebration of Halloween, Cinemark plans to give away 1,000 private watch parties at its theaters across the country. Shoppers can win by reserving an Oct. 31 watch party through the Cinemark website or mobile app. The first 1,000 people to register after 10:31 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 will get their Halloween watch party free of charge.

Private watch parties allow a group to rent an auditorium for up to 20 guests to watch any film they would like. The parties normally start at $99 to rent out an entire theater, with no minimum purchase on concessions. Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, all candy will be buy one for $2.50, get one free.

“Private watch parties have quickly become a moviegoer favorite – offering customers an exclusive immersive cinematic experience with a group they trust,” Cinemark CMO Wanda Gierhart-Fearing said. “In this ever-changing environment, Cinemark is happy to offer an alternative way to celebrate Halloween by bringing back some of the best movies for family fun or fright, and giving away 1,000 private watch parties.”

On top of the private watch parties, Cinemark will also be showing classic spooky movies on Cinemark Fright Nights throughout the month of October. The selections include “Beetlejuice,” “Hocus Pocus,” “Coco,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and more – all of which are also available for the private watch parties.

Cinemark continues to uphold its COVID-19 precautions including social distancing, extensive sanitizing and cleaning, face masks utilized by all employees and guests (only to be removed for eating and drinking), improved air ventilation and readily available seat wipes and hand sanitizer.
