The ArtCentre of Plano has announced the For the Love of Art honorees for the Fall for Art benefit.
Fall for Art will honor local individuals and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the arts in Plano and benefit the community through the art auction.
- The Visual Artist Award: Polly Gessell
- Literary Artist Award: Mary Jacobs
- Performing Artist Award: Victor Johnson
- Arts Education Award: North Texas Performing Arts Deaf Theater and Program Director Daymond Sands
- Organization Award: Outcry Theatre
- Collaborative Arts Award: Garage Arts Project
- Leadership Award: Amy Darrow
- Patron Award: Burke Asher
- Student Award: Plano West Sr. High School Orchestra
The event, held on Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the ArtCentre of Plano at 902 East 16th St. Tickets are $150 each or $1500 for a table for 8, plus tax.
