CAVA, the Washington, D.C.-based Mediterranean fast-casual eatery, will open at Legacy West at 10:45 a.m. on May 8 at 7501 Windrose Ave.
This healthy eatery serves customizable salads, grain bowls and house-made juices highlighting bold Mediterranean flavors. The restaurant also offers Crazy Feta, Spicy Lamb Meatballs and Cauliflower Quinoa Tabbouleh in addition to other spring specials.
The new Legacy West restaurant can seat 68 guests and provides a designated pickup area for online orders. This location is the brand’s first brick-and-mortar in DFW.
CAVA will partner with Plano-based Minnie’s Food Pantry to support its mission of providing healthy meals and resources to those in need. A portion of the proceeds on opening day – as well as any voluntary guest donations – will be donated to Minnie’s as a way to give back to our community.
CAVA was founded by Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos and Dimitri Moshovitis, three first-generation Greek Americans. Together they had a desire to share the Mediterranean way of life, bold flavors and innovative experiences in an accessible format with others. In 2018 CAVA acquired Plano-based Zoe’s Kitchen, another brand known for healthy, Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
