ICYMI: The Dallas Stars Foundation and National Life Group brought a Scholastic Book Fair to Plano ISD’s Barron Elementary School last week.
All of the school’s 344 students received three books of their choosing at the fair, 300 books were donated to the library and students received school supplies and giveaways from the foundation and National Life Group.
Students were also surprised with an appearance from Victor E. Green, who led an assembly on How to Choose the Perfect Book while the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team hosted a Fitness Stars Ball Hockey Clinic and presented a $15,000 check to the school.
