Dead Kat Rumble Classic Car Peep Show

The 1st annual Dead Kat Rumble, hosted by in partnership with Historic Downtown Plano Association, is planned for Sep. 30 from 9am-7pm. The Hellkats is a nonprofit Dallas-based hot rod and custom car club that hosts yearly charity events. This free event will take place in The Lot at McCall Plaza and will benefit developmental disease research at Children’s Medical Center.

Activities for the day include a hot rod/custom car show, vendors, live music and a Miss Rumble pinup pageant with cash prizes, as well as a Little Miss and Little Mister pageant for best costume. A metal workshop will educate any attendees who want to learn the customizing craft.

Entertaining from the McCall Plaza stage will be several music acts throughout the day:
– California rockabilly trio Three Bad Jacks
– San Antonio western swing band Texas T and The Shine Runners
– Ft. Worth trio The Rockaway Boys
– Plano rockabilly musician Nick Flint

Bring your kids, your pinups, your custom rides. There will be something here for the whole family.
