New restaurant and bar concept Fizz to open this summer

Pop open a bottle of bubbly, Fizz is coming to Plano. The all-day restaurant and bar concept is slated to open in early summer, complete with two full-service bars, a 3,500 square-food interior and a 1,200 square-food patio.

Fizz will start its day at 7 a.m. with a coffee service featuring beans sourced from around the world and transition into a lounge with drinks and music in the afternoon.

The bar boasts the most extensive Champagne list in DFW, with more than 50 sparkling wines including 20 Champagnes from France, and over 100 bottles of wine, all curated by GM and sommelier Anthony Martinez.

In addition to the Champagne and wine list, Fizz will also serve craft cocktails with an ever-changing menu of classic cocktails, original drinks, and twists on existing favorites like the Gin Fizz, the Naked and Famous, and Moth 2 a Flame, an Old-Fashioned riff infused with cold smoke.

Food is served from 4 to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday with select menu items available until midnight, and from 4 to 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays. Food will also be served for party brunches on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. accompanied by live entertainment.

The shareable food menu is full of build-your-own boards comprised of meats and cheeses from all over the world, house-made dressings and spreads, imported jams, crackers, breads and olives as well as fruit and vegetable boards.

The menu also features three salads topped with proteins such as prime filet, salmon, chicken or blackened shrimp. Feeling something sweet? Fizz’s DIY s’mores include a basket of graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows and personal burners. There are also four different fondue options: milk chocolate or caramel served with fruits, or two cheese options served with bread.

“We’ve been working hard to make Fizz the most fun new lounge Plano has to offer,” says the venue’s owner, Jeff Murtha. “It’s the perfect mix of great food and drinks, exceptional service and lively atmosphere, and there will always be something new to experience, whether it’s a rare bottle of bubbly or a captivating performer.”

Fizz is located at 3310 Dallas Parkway, Suite 115 off of Dallas North Tollway in Plano.
