Legacy West and Legacy Hall’s Juneteenth Fashion Show, presented by Think Three Media, returns Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m.

The fashion show celebrates the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth, a holiday that “commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in Texas on June 19, 1865.”

This year’s theme is ‘We Are One.” Guests are encouraged to wear all white as they embark in a small business shopping experience, pre-show beats by DJ Mack, the fashion show (emceed by Lady Jade and Michael Shawn with live music entertainment by RC and the Gritz) and an afterparty.

“This year’s theme, ‘We Are One,’ unites the community in a dazzling celebration of Black Excellence, Black Joy, and Black Culture,” a press release said. “Come dressed in all white as we honor the past, embrace the present, and uplift the future through fashion, music, and movement.”

The Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall is located at 7800 Windrose Ave. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $20. All proceeds benefit the National Juneteenth Museum.
