Man found dead in Plano creek

Police are investigating the death of a man found in a Plano creek Sunday morning.

Plano Police responded to the 5000 block of Custer Road at around 11 a.m. where witnesses say they found a body in Spring Creek near the Chisholm Trail.

The body of the man was found in the water and identified, but police are not releasing the mans name until family is notified.

Police say family members reported him missing on July 8 after leaving his home voluntarily.

The body was taken to the Colin County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death.

Police do not suspect foul play, and the investigation is still ongoing.
