Yan Pan Asian
Now open, Yan Pan Asian is the third restaurant from Chef Chin Liang to join Legacy Hall; he previusly opened Hōru Sushi Kitchen and Chef Chin’s Hibachi & Ramen. On this menu, guests will find Asian favorites including Spicy Thai Curry, Yakitori Chicken Robata and Kung Pao Chicken.

“Asian cuisine is in my DNA; it’s what I grew up with and what my parents cooked at home. I’m excited to get back to my roots and get back to cooking with a wok and robata. The wok is the most versatile tool in the kitchen and I think our guests will see that firsthand,” shared Chef Liang.

Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream Co.
Chef Julien Eelsen, founder of Legacy Hall’s Whisk & Eggs, is bringing his newest concept to the food hall this February. Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream Co. is named for a type of vanilla that comes from the Indian Ocean, specifically the former Bourbon Islands. The menu consists of traditional and soft-serve ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes. Some of the menu items are alcohol-infused.

“Growing up in Paris, I always loved ice cream. France is famous for its butter and creams and wholesome products, so I’ve drawn inspiration from that European food philosophy,” said Chef Eelsen.

Leila Bakery
Kelly Ball opened this second location of Leila Bakery in December. The original bakery is in Dallas’ Lakewood neighborhood. Her menu includes kolaches, quiches, chocolate chip cookies, honey roasted peanut butter cookies, coconut macaroons, seasonal shortbread and cake pops. Kelly’s special creation for Legacy Hall is the “Cakelette,” a custom single-serving cake in which a guest chooses the sponge, frosting, fillings and toppings.

Buttercup
The owners behind Sixty Vines, Whiskey Cake and more, Front Burner Society will welcome another restaurant concept this spring: Buttercup. Buttercup takes an unconventional approach to chicken tenders by focusing on global influences. The tenders are tossed, topped or sauced, and served in a cup or cone. The menu is designed to be easily enjoyed on-the-go while enjoying a concert at the Box Garden or exploring the rest of Legacy Hall.

The Italian Job
The Italian Job has expanded into its adjacent space and added New York-style pizza to the menu. Pizza can be ordered by the slice or the whole pie. Options include cheese, pepperoni, sausage and peppers, veggie and white pie. Topping options for whole pie orders include jalapeño, red onion, caramelized onion, chili oil, artichoke, fresh basil, ricotta whip, meatballs and more. Their scratch-made pasta is still served as well.
