Louis Vuitton is now open in Legacy West. Company officials say the new space “visualizes the Louis Vuitton universe through a diverse array of the House’s métiers, including leather goods, shoes, accessories, travel and fragrance.”
The luxury brand actually dates back to the mid-1800s. In 1885, the first store outside of France opened in London. Today there are thousands of stores across the world including more than 530 in the United States.
When planning for the new Legacy West store, designers worked to create a facade they say reverences Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Monogram Flower, a nod to the House’s heritage. There are also features created by local artists including a commissioned work by Plano artist Kelly Steller Hrad titled Rayee 1872.
Louis Vuitton in Legacy West is located at 7801 Windrose Avenue, Suite H100. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
