UPDATE 10/7/21: The date of the MUTTS Canine Cantina grand opening has changed to Oct. 27.
MUTTS Canine Cantina will open Oct. 27 at 1070 Watters Creek Blvd. in Allen. The dog-centric restaurant and bar requires a day pass or membership to visit. Owners are planning a grand opening “pawty” at 3 p.m. that afternoon to mark the occasion. Guests will have the chance to win merchandise, gift cards and food items.
“We’re so excited to grow the MUTTS brand, open our doors to the Allen community and become the city’s newest hub for socializing, eating and drinking while treating Allen’s four-legged locals to the same pleasures,” franchise owner Pavan Shree says. “Located in Watters Creek resort-style, mixed-use development, we hope that the new outpost will attract the shoppers and residents in the nearby lofts who are already the regulars at the commercial hotspot.”
USA Today recently named MUTTS one of the country’s “10 best dog-friendly restaurants.” Canine visitors can enjoy two off-leash private dog parks as well as all the water they can drink. Their human companions may partake in a variety of food and beverage items including the MUTTS original chicken sandwich and its signature frozen margarita, the “barkarita.”
This will be the third MUTTS location, joining outposts in Uptown Dallas and the Clearfork area of Fort Worth. New locations are also planned for Austin, New Braunfels, El Paso, Phoenix, and Tucson, Ariz.
