Steakhouse and Pappasito’s Cantina, is opening Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse location mid-September in Plano, on the Dallas North Tollway in the former Bone Daddy’s spot. The latest concept from Pappas Restaurants Inc., Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse offers a new BBQ experience with signature Southern classics and a polished, full-service dining environment.
Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse is proud to serve aged, hickory-smoked USDA Prime Beef Brisket from Creekstone Farms. From Jalapeño & Cheddar Sausage to Smoked Berkshire Pork Belly, St. Louis Style Ribs and the always impressive Big Boy Beef Rib, all of Delta Blues’ BBQ is butchered and slow smoked in-house, daily.
Not only are the meats served with two homemade sides, pickles and onions, Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse also offers BBQ Combos as well as a family-style BBQ Feast. Its Southern classic sides include Pit-Smoked Pork & Beans, Poppy Seed Cabbage Slaw, Buttered Collard Greens & Turnips and Mac & Cheese with buttered cracker crust, to name a few.
The smokehouse serves premium, USDA Prime dry-aged steaks as well as entrees like the “old school” blackened Mississippi Catfish with chile lime butter; a half or whole bird serving of Tim’s Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken with a mix of white and dark meat; and the Southern Grilled Salmon paired with bourbon maple glaze. The menu is complete with a plethora of appetizers, garden salads, soups, burgers & pit sandwiches—such as Southern Fried Green Tomatoes with peppercorn ranch and local goat cheese; Sunday’s Deviled Eggs with crispy smoked pork belly, homemade pickled onions and Crystal hot sauce; Smoked Chicken Gumbo with homemade beef sausage and white rice; and a BBQ Salad option.
Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse takes its menu to another level with its full-service bar that is sure to delight all drink enthusiasts with an extensive American whiskey selection, a variety of handcrafted cocktails, tapped and bottled brews, as well as wine served by the glass or bottle. Specialty cocktails are whiskey, vodka, rum, gin or tequila-based and are expertly crafted by Beverage Concept Manager Matt Tanner. Cocktail offerings include a Frozen Whiskey Smash, Strawberry Habanero Mule, Leisure Suit Fizz and Nonino’s Pimm’s Cup.
