Plano ranks top non-coastal wellness hub in the nation

In a Zenoti study of the 80 most populated cities in the U.S., Plano ranked in the top five for cities focused on well-being, including relaxation, fitness and healthy eats.

The top ten included Irvine, California; Long Beach, California; Plano; Miami; Orlando; Anaheim, California; Chandler, Arizona; Washington, D.C. and Santa Ana, California.

Plano ranked highly due to having the third most personal care locations per capita, fourth most healthy food locations per capita, fifth most fitness locations per capita, fifth most health and fitness recovery locations per capita.

“Plano, Texas, ranks as the top non-coastal wellness hub, proving that high-quality wellness infrastructure is expanding beyond traditional coastal markets,” the report said.

The study also looked into cities where wellness demand outpaces supply, several Texas cities filled the top 10, including Houston, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth.
