Plano Snooze set for November

Snooze, an A.M. eatery, is scheduled to open at 1900 Preston Road this November.  The chain specializing in breakfast fare currently has two Dallas locations as well as outposts in Addison and Fort Worth.  A Frisco location on the Dallas North Tollway is also scheduled to open this year.

The new restaurants are part of the company’s aggressive expansion plans, which call for six more locations by the end of the year, and eight to ten more in 2023.  Spokesperson Callie Sumlin says that expansion is exciting for the company because it will allow it to positively impact more communities through giving back to local non-profits and serving responsibly sourced food.  She believes that Snooze, which was founded in Denver in 2006, has helped revitalize breakfast culture by bringing creativity and innovation to breakfast, along with an energetic and eclectic atmosphere and friendly service.

“Key to the Snooze’s growth is its mindful approach to environmental and social causes,” she says. “Snooze continues to be a leader in sustainable environmental practices, responsible food sourcing, and community involvement and support,t and will give back at least $1.4 Million to local communities while building menus with “Snooze-approved” food and diverting the majority of its waste from landfills.

“Snooze-approve” is the company’s set of standards that promote responsibly-sourced food and sustainable agricultural practices while still managing to create tasty meals. The food menu includes a variety of breakfast plates, sandwiches, tacos, ,burritos and benedicts as well as plant-based options. There is also a rotating menu of seasonal items and an eclectic drink menu.
