The name says it all. Strike + Reel opened in Garland in December, offering guests both bowling and a cinema under one roof.
Located at George Bush Tollway and Holford Road, this 90,000-square-foot center keeps guests entertained with everything from bowling, rock climbing and bumper cars to high ropes courses, laser tag, arcade games and dine-in movie auditoriums.
Each of the eight theaters have large-format screens with heated luxury recliners and full bar service, the only way to watch movies these days.
“We’ve combined the best of indoor entertainment to create fun and memorable experiences for our guests and team,” said Mark Moore, CEO of Entertainment Properties Group, Inc.
Strike + Reel features a variety of dining options, including shareables, pizzas, main plates and desserts. Menu items include the Epic Cheese Fries topped with applewood-smoked bacon, chopped brisket and fried jalapeños; Buffalo Chicken Pizza with roasted chicken, ranch, onions and buffalo sauce; and the Lemon Pepper Shrimp served with seven-grain rice and market vegetables. The full bar serves cocktails, 24 draft beers, 12 tapped wines and boozy milkshakes.
Insider tip: Order The Titanic, an oversized dessert with scoops of ice cream, bananas, berry compote, chocolate and strawberry syrup, whipped cream and brownies. It looks pretty impressive.
