Granite Properties recently completed the addition of a multi-purpose outdoor pavilion at The Boardwalk at Granite Park. The new pavilion provides a venue for charity and community events, live music and fitness classes as well as space for working or socializing outdoors.
The pavilion is part of an overall effort to foster community and create a walkable, urban neighborhood experience in Granite Park. “It provides a gathering spot to bring people together, whether it’s through live music, a fitness class or supporting a cause,” said Will Hendrickson, Senior Managing Director, Granite Properties.

A number of events will be held at the pavilion in the near future including Cape Day on Nov. 7 from 4-8pm. Cape Day is a free, community event that honors patient superheroes at Children’s Health who fight courageously against illness and injury every day. Visit childrens.com/capeday to donate or purchase a cape for $20.
Another charity event coming up at The Boardwalk is the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run on Dec. 7. The holiday-themed 5k race races funds to help cure arthritis. This family friendly race also offers a 1-mile option. A pre-registration event with activities will be held on Dec. 1 from 12-4pm.
Several bands are scheduled to play at the pavilion, including Trey and the TriTones Oct. 23 from 5-8pm, Hard Night’s Day Beatles Tribute Nov. 1 from 5-8pm and Signature Band Nov. 15 from 5-8pm.
Divine Balance Yoga at The Boardwalk will be hosting a fitness class at the pavilion on Nov. 21 at 6pm. Registered yoga teachers will lead the 60-minute power vinayasa class.

The pavilion is adjacent to The Boardwalk at Granite Park. In case of rain on event days, the latest information will be available here.
