Plano Dutch Bros Coffee opens Monday

Dutch Bros Coffee announced that the grand opening of its first Plano location will be Monday July 26. The new location at 720 West Spring Creek Parkway was formerly a Taco Bueno outpost.

According to the most recent statistics available, Dutch Bros is the fourth-largest coffee chain in the country behind Starbucks, Dunkin’ and Tim Hortons. The Oregon-based company was founded by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in 1992 in Grants Pass.

Today their company boasts more than 422 locations across the country. Last year it began expanding into the Texas and Oklahoma markets. In DFW, new stores have opened in Pantego and McKinney, with locations in Fort Worth, Euless and Princeton set to open soon.

The menu at Dutch Bros includes a variety of coffee beverages as well as smoothies, tea, lemonade and soda. There is also a small selection of snacks.
