The Outlook at Windhaven sold out 153 independent living residences, 30 independent living cottages, 32 assisted living residences and 24 private memory support suites.

Since Forefront Living’s The Outlook at Windhaven (OAW) opened 17 months ago, the senior living community has sold out.

The community features 153 independent living residences, 30 independent living cottages, 32 assisted living residences and 24 private memory support suites.

“Forefront Living is proud that Plano has embraced The Outlook at Windhaven as the area’s preferred senior living community,” said Tim Mallad, Forefront Living CEO. “Achieving 100% sold in 17 months speaks to the growing demand for exceptional senior living options throughout North Texas.”

According to a news release, discussions are underway for a future expansion of the Plano campus.

Though Plano has over two dozen senior living communities, the latest Census data points to over 60,000 Planoites being over the age of 60. While there is no data available on how many units are needed, the filled development of Plano’s latest community points to a growing need as the population ages.
