Legacy West’s Juneteenth Fashion Show returns

The lineup features experts in education, medicine, philanthropy, arts, AI and social capital. Tickets are available online.
The tribute will include a roll call of fallen soldiers from Plano, posting of the colors, pledge of allegiance and invocation.
The job fair will provide resume building, on-the-spot hiring, lunch, professional dress and other skill-building for the job search.
The grants come after an annual report on the State of the arts underscored the critical value of arts education.
The annual award is given to a volunteer who goes above and beyond, sticking out among the 2,000 others that work with The Storehouse.
Volunteers spotted: These Northwestern Mutual employees spent their Thursday loading items, sorting food and assisting Minnie’s.
Alqawasmi placed with his flavor, Fig Krokan, which includes almond gelato with caramelized figs and almonds, and will advance in August.
At the end of the Plano ISD Advanced Placement Art Exhibition, several seniors were honored for their artistic talents.
The fundraiser, formerly known as Taste of the Cowboys, is a culinary event that raises funds annually toward the fight against hunger.
