The BGCCC's largest fundraiser of the year, the 2023 Chrysalis Ball, is set for October 14 with a "A Night at the Cabaret" theme.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC) is hosting their largest fundraising event of the year, the 18th annual Chrysalis Ball, on Oct. 14 at the Hilton Embassy Suites Hotel & Convention Center in Frisco.

The gala’s theme, “A Night at the Cabaret, Featuring Jazz and Comedy,” will feature speakeasy-esque vibes, a red-carpet meet-and-greet with club members, a live jazz performance, a cocktail reception, a live and silent auction and a gourmet dinner.

“Celebrating both our community’s spirit of generosity and the boundless potential of our youth, the 2023 Chrysalis Ball is more than an event; it’s a transformative moment,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County CEO Shawn Wills. “As we come together to enjoy a Night at the Cabaret, we also come together to create opportunities, inspire dreams, and shape a brighter future for the young minds we serve. Your presence and support at this Gala truly make a difference in the lives we touch.”

The doors open at 5:30 p.m., with sponsor Ryan, a tax services business with global headquarters in Dallas.

“Ryan is honored to continue our support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County,” said Ryan Chairman and CEO G. Brint Ryan. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County has done tremendous work helping put local youth on a path to future success, and we are proud to play a part in that mission.”

According to the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County, more than 60,000 individuals live below the poverty line in Collin County, with 2,000 youth served by the organization.

“Our success rate with proven results of 100% grade level advancement and 100% high school graduation with plans for college, job training, or military duty reveals what can happen when we work together as a community,” the organization’s website said. “At Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County we are working to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Tickets can be purchased online for $375, which covers one reserved seat, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a gourmet meal with wine. Sponsorship packages are also available online.
