Edmond’s Burgers & More is tentatively scheduled to open next week at 2919 West 15th Street. In addition to burgers, the restaurant will feature flatbreads, gyros, sandwiches, wings and salads. Owner Aida Lamce says it is the first restaurant venture for her and her husband. Since her background is in finance, accounting and management, she will oversee the business side. He’s worked in the restaurant business for nearly 30 years and will man the kitchen.
“Being a chief for so many years, you deserve to have your own place,” she says. “It’s better late than never.”
Aida says she hopes to announce an exact opening date soon once they get a final go-ahead from the city.
