Those that donate canned goods during the campaign - starting Jan. 15 and ending on Super Bowl Sunday - will receive $5 fowling open play.

Fowling Warehouse DFW, Plano’s football-bowling site and the largest fowling venue nationwide, launched a charitable “Fowlanthropy” program with a canned food drive benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). The entertainment venue aims to collect 100 pounds of food from Jan. 15 to Feb. 11.

“Our commitment to Fowlanthropy aligns with the spirit of play and giving back, and as the largest fowling venue nationwide, we believe in using our platform to make a positive impact in our community,” said Justin Rojas, guest relations and marketing manager at Fowling Warehouse DFW. “We’re proud to partner with the North Texas Food Bank for our first Fowlanthropy event to provide meals to families across North Texas, and we look forward to continued outreach to help a variety of causes throughout DFW as we expand our Fowlanthropy initiatives.”

Between now and Feb. 11 (Super Bowl Sunday), patrons can drop off donations of canned goods, including:

  • 16 oz. jars of peanut butter (not mixed with other items like jelly, honey and chocolate)
  • 14-16 oz. canned fruit
  • 8 oz. shelf-stable milk (not flavored with chocolate, vanilla and strawberry)
  • 5 oz. canned tuna
  • 5 oz. canned chicken
  • 15-16 oz. low-sodium canned vegetables
  • 1-2 oz. bags of trail mix

These canned goods can be donated to Fowling Warehouse during regular business hours to receive $5 off fowling open play. Additionally, 10% of every purchase of the trio appetizer will be donated to NTFB every Monday between Jan. 15 and Feb. 11.

On Feb. 11, during Fowling Warehouse’s annual Super Bowl Watch Party, the results will be tallied with a canned good “weigh-in.” Monetary donations can also be given to the campaign online

The Fowlanthropy program will continue into 2024 with Fowlanthropy Frenzy each Monday, where partners like Children’s Health, Harbor of Hope, Townview Law and Hank’s Friends will receive 100% of donations raised by reserving a lane or ordering from the Fowling kitchen.

Fowling Warehouse DFW is located at 1714 14th Street. The location features 40 fowling lanes, three bars, 24 TVs, a full kitchen and a VIP lounge.
