The “twisted farm food” of restaurant Hash House a Go Go has filled the bellies of residents and tourists in Sin City, the Windy City and, originally, America’s Finest City (San Diego). Imagine how thrilled Plano is that the restaurant has decided to plant roots here, with its first Lone Star State location.
“We are excited to bring our twisted Midwestern fare to Texas, and we are confident Texans will enjoy it,” said Jim Rees, Partner and Chief Operating Officer. He also added, “We knew we wanted a Dallas location, and Plano was just perfect.”

Opening to the public this Friday, Hash House a Go Go will feature the bold flavors and over-the-top presentations it’s known for, but will incorporate Southern fare and Texas staples exclusive to the Texas menu.
Such selections include chicken fried steak, Texas Ranchero Benedict, fried green tomatoes and Tractor Nachos—just to name a few. Want more Texas flare? The children’s menu features one of the restaurant’s famous bacon-stuffed waffles in the shape of Texas.

It’s obvious Hash House a Go Go wants to make Texans feel at home with the unique menu items, but one thing remaining the same across all locations is the country industrial” décor that creates the look and feel of the restaurant’s funky vibe. Cowhide booths? Check. Modern, sophisticated bar area? Check.

Speaking of the bars (yes, there are two), there is one inside and one on the screened-in porch, adjacent to the beautiful outdoor patio. Saddle up to either and order off the Bloody Mary Menu to include the likes of a Loaded Shrimp Mary, the HH White Lightning Bloody Mary and the classic BLT Bloody Mary.

Located in Plano’s Preston Park Village at 1900 Preston Road (previously Patrizio’s), Hash House a Go Go seats approximately 240 people, and will open to the public on March 25th. The brunch menu is served all day through lunch and dinner, with the addition of the dinner menu starting at 5 p.m. Brunch will start at 7 a.m. with dinner served until 10 p.m. weekdays and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
