Chef John Tesar’s nationally renowned steakhouse, Knife, is now open at The Shops at Willow Bend. The steakhouse is also accompanied by Knife Butcher Shop and Knife Burger, which allows guests to bring their favorites home.
“The energy of Dallas is expanding out to Plano, Frisco and beyond,” said Chef Tesar. “I’m really fortunate to open Knife in one of the fastest growing suburbs in America. It’s something that we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I think that Plano is the perfect place to support a concept like Knife.”

While paying homage to the traditional steakhouse, Chef Tesar also wanted to make the Willow Bend location of Knife more relevant, exciting and affordable. Here diners can find steaks available for anywhere from $25 to $220 to meet any budget.
The menu consists of several meat-centric entrees such as 44 Farms Beef Tartare, a Bacon Tasting of 5 Varieties, Bacon Jam Sloppy Joe Sliders, 44 Farm Dry Age Burger, 90 Day Dry Aged Heartbrand Ranch Akaushi Ribeye and 240 Day Dry Aged 44 Farm 107 Bone-In Ribeye, to name a few.

“Much like consulting a Sommelier when selecting a bottle of wine, I consider myself a ‘meat Sommelier’ for those selecting a cut and style of meat,” said John. “When guests come to Knife, I aim to not only help them select which meat is right for them, but to educate guests on the science behind the dry aging process.”
The steakhouse also has an extensive wine list with 300+ wines and a Sommelier on staff nightly to assist guests in finding the perfect wine to complement their meal.

The private dining room is available for celebrations, corporate events and large dining occasions, and has its own dedicated kitchen. A large patio with comfortable lounge seating and a fire pit looks out onto the large grassy area at The District.
Knife Butcher Shop sells every cut of meat offered in the restaurant for the at-home cook. Adjacent to the Butcher Shop, Knife Burger sells four of its most popular burgers for an affordable dinner on-the-go.
Knife is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
