Malibu Barbie rolls into town

The 2021 “Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Malibu Tour” will be stopping at the grassy lot in The District at The Shops at Willow Bend this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour is a celebration of Malibu Barbie’s fiftieth anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Barbie truck was redesigned to invoke a 1970s style beach vibe.

That truck will be selling a wide array of brand new 70s themed Malibu Barbie beach apparel.  Available items will include barbie-logo embroidered denim jackets, pink Barbie-logo hoodies, tie dye bucket hats, ring t-shirts, embroidered patch sets, shopper totes, stainless thermal bottles, beach towels, Malibu Barbie necklaces, barbie logo mugs, and enamel pin sets.

Prices will range from $12 to $75.

The Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Tour began in Los Angeles in 2019 and has been traveling to various cities across the United States ever since. After Plano, its next stop will be in the Houston area.
