Plano Art Association Members’ Show Open Through March 3

The entire community is invited to check out the Plano Art Association Members’ show. The exhibition at the Gallery@Courtyard in the Downtown Plano Arts District features the work of 55 local artists.

All works fall into four categories: representational paintings, non-representational paintings, photography and 3-dimensional pieces.

The 2-dimensional works will be on display at the gallery at 1509 H Avenue. It will be open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Masks are highly encouraged while in the building.

Three-dimensional art will be at Summit Avenue Artisan Studios, which is located nearby at 1108 Summit Avenue, Suite 3. It is open from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. An open house will also be held here on Saturday, February 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Noted educator and exhibitor, Martin Delabano, will judge the show. The public is invited to attend a special awards ceremony on Feb. 15 at Gallery@Courtyard where the winners will be announced.  That event will begin at 7 p.m.

All entries in the exhibit may be viewed online.  For more information, visit planoartassociation.org.
