Urban Rio, Urban Crust, Play Street Plano, Kona Grill and Holy Grail Pub are going green for St. Patrick's Day this weekend.

Time to pick out your green or get pinched – St. Patrick’s Day is nearly here. On Friday and all weekend long, Plano’s favorite bars and restaurants are celebrating with green decor, Irish food and Bailey’s on Bailey’s.

Holy Grail Pub is celebrating on Friday with Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, Irish burger and a corned beef Cristo. On Saturday and Sunday, Holy Grail will be stacked with Guinness Stout pancakes with Jameson Irish Whiskey maple syrup and Bailey’s whipped cream from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Looking for something for the kiddos? Play Street Plano is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Slime & Playtime event on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. For $20, the kids can make a batch of green slime and a rainbow treat to celebrate the occasion.

Urban Concepts is cranking out the festivities with Texas’ pot of gold (queso, duh), live music and $4 Jamesons at Urban Rio and a DJ performance and $4 Jamesons at Urban Crust.

Kona Grill is celebrating with $3 green beer, sake and seltzer specials, $6 corned beef sliders all week long for its St. Patrick’s Week of Happy Hour Specials. Guests can also get the corned beef sliders for lunch, dinner, takeout and delivery for $19.

CORRECTION: (3/8/23 1:20) This version has been corrected from an earlier version in which the headline misspelled St. Paddy’s as St. Patty’s.
