With programs and services based in Plano, The Family Place will host its annual 10-day fundraising event for the 33rd year in a row this fall, according to a press release.
The Family Place has committed to assisting family violence survivors in North Texas since 1978. The nonprofit provides housing, counseling and education services, as well as a 24/7 crisis hotline. In 1993, a group of volunteers founded Partners Card, which has established more than 700 partnerships and raised over $23 million to date. Bank of Texas is set to return this year as the event’s presenting sponsor, and Snell Motor Companies will join as a new major sponsor.
“Partners Card is a beautiful reminder of how small acts of generosity can create real, lasting change,” Tiffany Tate, CEO of The Family Place, stated in the press release. “Each card purchased helps provide safety, healing and hope to survivors of family violence. Our community’s response — and the way our retail and restaurant partners step up to say thank you with special savings — shows just how much good we can do when we come together.”
The Family Place’s 2025 fundraiser will take place Friday, Oct. 24 – Sunday, Nov. 2 this fall. On the first day, NorthPark Center will present a Fall Fashion Preview to kick off the event. Further details are to be announced.
Partners Cards go on sale Sept. 1 at $100 each, with all proceeds supporting The Family Place. Cards unlock 20% savings at participating retailers and 10% off at select restaurants across DFW.
