Tommy Bahama Restaurants and Marlin Bars are kicking off the warm season with their ‘Summer of Gin’ series that kicks off just in time for World Gin Day on June 11.
World Gin Day started in 2009 and has since become a celebration on the second Saturday of June in over 30 countries. Now, Tommy Bahama is getting in on the fun with their own gin cocktails to celebrate.
Throughout June and July, all Tommy Bahama Restaurants and Marlin Bar locations, including Plano’s own at 7501 Windrose Ave., will incorporate a range of Gin cocktails, including the Tommy G &T which includes a cucumber wheel, raspberry, lemon peel, juniper berries or pink peppercorns, Tommy Bahama Island Gin, tonic water, grapefruit bitters and an edible flower for garnish.
Other cocktails include The Strawberry Fields of Summer with strawberries and basil, The Ambrosia Fizz with Prosecco and Aperol, and The Hendrick’s Tea with strawberry puree and ginger beer.
