Yet another storm tore through Plano last night, this time with less damage, though 60 mph winds tore the roof off of PWSH.

If you live anywhere near me, you likely also woke up to the house shaking in the wee hours of the morning. According to the City of Plano, our city experienced wind gusts up to 60 mph this morning.

There were over 20,000 Planoites without power, according to Oncor, which has now dwindled down to around 7,500.

Damage across the city includes various trees, power lines at the 2700 block of Plano Parkway (which is currently closed), damage to the roof of Plano West Senior High School and minor damage to fences and other structures around the city.

There is some damage to various parks, with downed trees and tree limbs and minor damage to shade covers, fencing and roofs. Photo courtesy of the City of Plano.
