Ford’s Garage is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day on September 18 by naming new burgers after Plano’s government, nonprofit and law enforcement leaders.
The ‘Burgers of Fame’ menu will feature twelve new burgers including:
- The Black N Bleu: Named after Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner, the burger features blackened seasoning, crumbled bleu cheese, applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions, crisp lettuce and tomato on a pretzel bun.
- The Estate Burger: Named after Plano Mayor John B. Muns, the burger features smoked gouda cheese, sweet red onion marmalade, arugula, tomato, fried onion straws and white truffle bacon aioli on a brioche bun.
- The High-Octane: Named after Plano Fire Chief Chris Biggerstaff, the burger features Tillamook Pepper Jack cheese, guacamole, chipotle ketchup, crisp lettuce, tomato, red onion and fresh jalapeno peppers on a brioche bun.
- The Bison Bacon: Named after Plano Chief of Police Ed Drain, the burger features a bison patty with Tillamook sharp cheddar, bacon jam, bourbon barbecue sauce, arugula, onion ring and chipotle aioli on a brioche bun.
Other burgers on the local ‘Burgers of Fame’ features include the president of the Dallas Model A Ford Club, the 2023 Teacher of the Year from Clark High School, president of the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas, founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry, the president of the North Texas Mustang Club and Children’s Health.
