On Nov. 1 Legacy Hall will welcome a new food vendor to its ever-changing rotation of food stalls and concepts. This will be the first location for The Italian Job, which will make fresh pasta in-house daily.
The brand’s website says, “The Italian Job prides itself on artisanal, handmade pasta, locally-sourced, quality ingredients and traditional recipes with an occasional twist.” The new food stall will offer pasta dishes featuring a base of either spaghetti, casarecce or tagliatelle, with health-conscious zucchini noodles available as a substitute.
Some of the dishes offered include the traditional Cacio e Pepe with Parmesan cheese and black pepper, Renzo’s Pasta with red sauce, bacon, chili and cream, and The Meatball Bowl served with a choice of Mamma’s Red Sauce or dijon sauce. All entrees are priced under $10. Kids’ spaghetti is available for $4.
“There is an energy about The Italian Job that can best be described as ‘veloce,’ meaning ‘quick’,” explained Executive Chef Clifford Barratt. “Our chefs strive to deliver high-quality, fresh pasta at a grab-and-go pace perfect for a food hall atmosphere.” Born and trained in South Africa, Chef Barratt has spent over a decade building a portfolio of award-winning concepts, including Old Town Italy in Pretoria, South Africa.
The Italian Job is located on the first floor, adjacent to Beijing Brothers.
